New York-day 5

Day 5:

Our fifth day started over at Spring Studios where the Zimmermann show was being held. We were originally going there to people watch but as we were arriving we noticed that there were a bunch of street style photographers and they had started taking pictures of me. This was a super cool moment for me and totally unexpected (I was just trying to play it cool and act like this happened all the time). As we were getting ready to leave, I was looking around and saw Chriselle Lim (one of my favorite bloggers/fashion influencers). I’ll be honest and say I was totally shocked that I actually saw her and she is just as flawless in person as she is on Instagram.

We stopped at By Chloe for lunch (yes we went again) before going over to Skylight Clarkson Square. As we were walking towards the shows a photographer asked if he could pull me aside to take a picture (photographer in red seen below). This brought another rush of photographers which again came as a complete surprise!

The rest of the day was focused on exploring more of New York so I did a quick outfit change before we went off to adventure through Central Park. Let me begin by saying that Central Park was MUCH bigger than I expected. The park is very pretty and filled with both wildlife and people. After spending a good portion of the afternoon at the park, we decided it was finally time for us to try some New York pizza so we went to Joe’s Pizza. If you are ever in NYC (or even if you aren’t – they ship anywhere in the U.S.), I would highly recommend Joe’s; the pizza is delicious, reasonably priced, and the line moves very fast. Our flight back to San Luis Obispo was the next morning but we were able to squeeze in a yummy breakfast at Friedman’s Restaurant before taking off.

This trip was so much fun and it left me feeling inspired and ready to go back!
