I love how a small detail can add so much to a simple silhouette. Whether it’s a patch on a shirt or lace on a skirt it can completely change an outfit and keep it from being boring. Just as with long dresses, I don’t typically wear long skirts, but this skirt looked like it could be fun. It’s a great length hitting just below mid-calf and I also love that the bottom is unfinished and has a scalloped look to it. I chose to accessorize this outfit with black boots, sunnies, and a purse with gold accents to pick up on the gold embellishment on the shirt.
